Henry Monyei has been very supportive...
Henry Monyei has been very supportive throughout our health and safety journey. Always there to help even sometimes I personally feel a bit silly to ask certain questions. As a business H & S is really crucial and I have always not been confidence enough but Henry has boosted my confidence massively , making it less daunting and helping me to understand H&S in the workplace. I had my first ever H & S Fire Assessment meeting on 4th November 2024 with Andrew Neophytou from Peninsula. I found Andrew to be extremely friendly and so helpful. The way he explained the process and what it entailed. This enabled me to understand and feel really comfortable throughout our meeting. This is really important to me and Sequoia and working with Andrew made me understand what is expected of me/Sequoia going forward. The 24 hour service is amazing. A problem came up at 6pm znd by 6am I'd engaged with an agent, and had a letter sent by 6am.
It meant that, although I didn't get much sleep I wasnt awake all night worrying.

We are all HR experts aren't we?
We recently required the support of Peninsula regarding a difficult staffing issue. We have been supported by Morgan who has been extremely professional and did a really good job. The work she produced was much better than we could have done ourselves and really took the emotions out of the situation. Great ET case support
I was working with Peninsula on quite a complicated ET case that was a legacy from before my time in the business. Our solicitor for the case, Yousaf Mahmood who was my main point of contact, was incredibly helpful and supportive as well as helping me to understand background of the case. I have had such positive expereinces with Peninsula, the staff are with you each step, and I did not have to speak to multiiple staff, I had the same member of staff assisting me throughout the journey, this was not an easy journey for me but I was totally supported and understood by the advisor. I have every confidence in my advisor and she was a huge asset to me.

Olusegan Llori - He was pleasant, clear and patient with his approach
The knowledge of the consultant and how he conducted the visit was excellent. He used languages and scenarios extremely well to ensure that we understood why the monitoring checks and audits were conducted effectively. He applied legislation and regulations to his explanations and demonstrated a firm understanding of health & safety.
He went through each question thoroughly and showed me what the expectations were, alongside what we were already doing to ensure that we were carrying out our health & safety recordings effectively.
He did not use any jargon and worked at my pace to ensure I understood the context of the visit.

Mimi has visited my store (Venchi Hampstead) on two occasions in the last year. She went above and beyond to ensure that I was able to learn, develop and enhance my skills in the area of H&S as well as giving me unbelievable amounts of support where I’ve needed it. She explained all the different aspects of h&s as well as sending me a new fire log book and h&s poster when it was requested. Mimi was a pleasure to be around and has vast amounts of knowledge and patience to ensure that my audit was carried out in a professional and valuable way. I could not thank mimi enough for her time and for sharing her vast amounts of knowledge with me. She has made my store a safe space to work in as well as ensuring that I follow the law to the letter with regard to paperwork and documentation. If I could give her 10* I would. We had a productive meeting with Daniel Haimes today to review HR documentation and receive updates on recent changes in legislation.
