The government recently released its quarterly report of tribunal statistics from October to December 2024. And there were some interesting findings...
In comparison to the previous quarter (July to September 2024), we saw a rise in:
- Unfair dismissal claims – up by 10.4%
- Breach of contract claims – up by 10.8%
- Failure to provide SMT claims – up by 5.2%
The fact that claims are rising sends an important message to HR.
