Peninsula have been active in the media of late with a number of media outlets highlighting our advice to employers, and some of the print media highlighting our services in their publications.
Inside Ireland has highlighted a recent Peninsula survey regarding absenteeism in their build up to the Olympics.
In the article they have spoken to Alan Price, a Director of Peninsula, regarding this matter and for elaboration on certain points.
The piece provides a warning to employers not to accept occurrences of uncertified sickness, and gives practical advice on how to counteract incidences of absenteeism through incentive schemes. This piece has also been picked up by other various media outlets, and if this is of interest to you may wish to look at an earlier blog post we did on sporting events this summer.
Peninsula has also been featured recently in the Sunday Independent and Evening Herald Publications, with our current initiative focusing on Social Media and the pitfalls it can create for an employer, being featured in both publications.
Be on the lookout for this piece as seen below.
Peninsula also provide advice in a more direct sense via our weekly radio slots on Dublin City FM, with our Employment Law Advisor Killian O'Byrne, and on Claremorris Community Radio with Business Development representatives Tony Kerins and Martina Greene.
Killian looks at providing practical and helpful advice to employers on a range of issues. Each Thursday at 10.15 am he focuses on a particular topic ranging from Fixed term Contracts, to Gross Misconduct, to transfer of Undertakings.
Listeners also have the option of calling in with their queries to Killian during the show.
Our Health & Safety Operations Manager Brendan Hanratty also alternates on the segment providing advice on a range of Health and Safety matters that can be a cause for concern amongst employers.
Tony and Martina guest on a segment on a money matters show on Claremorris Community Radio, and look at particular items employers may struggle with such as performance management, recruitment and absenteeism.
Both shows give employers practical and concise advice on matters relating to HR and Employment Law, and look to answer listeners queries throughout the segments.
We will look to keep you updated on where you may see Peninsula Ireland in the Media, and any items which would potentially be of interest to you.
