Employment injunctions have once again been brought to the forefront of media attention with the news that the"face" of Paramount Pictures in Ireland is serving notice of injunction proceedings against her employer. Reported in today's Irish Independent, Anna Lavery has gone to the High Court to request an injunction preventing her dismissal, for redundancy.
We have previously highlighted this topic on the blog and provided guidance on injunctions and what grounds must be satisfied in order to be granted an injunction. it will be interesting to see how this turns out but it is noteworthy that it will return to the High Court next week.
