How can Canadian employers address workplace violence and harassment?

Employers must develop and implement a written workplace violence and harassment policy and prevention plan. This policy must be drafted in consultation with the occupational health and safety committee, the occupational health and safety representative, or in absence of a committee representative, with the workers themselves. In addition, employers must provide workplace violence and harassment training to all employees, including management.
